what do you do when you don’t really want to talk?
in these sessions you will be invited to contemplate the things that are on your mind, and walked through techniques informed by developmental patterning, somatic CBT and traditional meditative approaches to mental stability.
developmental patterning
our nervous systems inform and are informed by movement, so we can use this interface to influence and impact our mental wellbeing with a primordial inner sense and knowing that comes from evolutionary development of body-mind.
somatic CBT
traditional cognitive behavioural therapy asks you to think about your actions and thoughts and rationalise them to help order or clarify what you’re thinking or feeling. Somatic CBT does not require you to have the words or language for what you’re feeling, or even how to solution but instead invites you to notice sensations in your body that we can interpret together without needing to repeatedly talk about it.
meditation
meditative traditions in Buddhism and kundalini nondual tantra both advise knowing over acting, and have many techniques including mindfulness that help you press “pause” and give space before action.
this will help shift you out of stuckness and into a better place.

i like to call this (not)therapytm and it is a short and sweet, small though mighty session that’s like hitting the reset button; a combination of somatic practices and micro meditations. you can choose to share your problems with me or not, and it works just as well either way. practices will be tailored to your needs each session, which is usually 30 minutes.
