this is the most type b classes I’ve ever run in my life, but honestly I miss teaching and my meditation practice is starting to return to, hmm I hate it when we say let’s get things back to the way that they were, because my meditations were not as deep nor as experienced as when I sit now. While I could sit far longer, I didn’t have the same grounding in my whole practice and understanding of yoga. In yoga there is not a measurable linear progression – we can see development to a point superficially when you are beginning your journey, but once you begin to take the reins practice becomes deeply personal, and truly only you and your gurus can tell you where you really are…
anyway long story short I miss teaching and I am going to start running TikTok LIVE meditations probably from this week.
why is this type b?
in a chaotic but flowing practice like mine we have no timetable I teach when I want to. There will be no charge, it’s simple when I feel like it. Once I start scheduling things I’ll be charging money but until then this is really just because I feel I have something to give. It was the winter solstice yesterday and now the days are getting brighter until midsummer. feels like an auspicious time to start giving again!
what is it?
I’ll be going live for minimum 1hr at a time, offering micro-meditations of 5-15 minutes. in between sessions you are free to enter the chat and ask me any questions about anything related to what I can tell you as a somatic yoga therapist.

what’s the meditation?
it will be a simple closed-eye meditation focusing on the breath, and ill guide you through several different points of awareness.
why should you go?
because this kind of meditation is an amazing way to soothe a stressed nervous system; because it can be as deeply restful as sleep; because it is healing; because I am incredible company
