on my throne

hello everyone.
this is not a drill. I have some important news to share that might change the way that you approach wellness practitioners that you need to hear.

most of us are healing too

I choose not to work. I do, I chose it. Because I could not. I had options. I found myself without a home before the pandemic and I had several invitations to work in yoga studios and retreat centres around the world.

however, I was traumatised and I had no guarantee I would be able to meet the expectations of a socially demanding position like a retreat leader or resort teacher.

it broke my heart to stay in England because I had never wanted to be anywhere so little.

but as a native I am entitled to state-funded essentials such as housing, and a small stipend. I say this will all transparency in mind because I don’t wish to mislead you.

I prefer a different life and nicer things and less stress but that’s not my karma right now, and hasn’t been for the past couple of years.

my karma has been to stop fighting my health and to rest. And to really learn to rest.

that said, I have no issue with working a small amount now and again. It invigorates me, the joys and challenges of helping other humans is a complex need you could probably pathologise from some childhood trauma but I genuinely do love to solve things for people.

so if you see my throne account, don’t be shocked. I’m not above creating an avenue for money to come to me freely to exit this discomfort before I’m totally able to stand up myself.

I ask that you respect my directness and try to meet that by sending any work requests to me directly.
